Regardless, baking is a reliable, time-tested culinary method not to be ignored.

3. Roasting - A personal favorite of mine, roasting is a culinary method that does not require oil in order to be fulfilled. In addition, it is able to work across a number of different foods. Yes, it can be utilized in order to prepare meat in effective ways but it's also worth noting that vegetables can be made with this same method in place. In fact, one can make the argument that roasting should be the first culinary method that anyone should learn about, since it is generally quite easy to go about compared to other processes. When it comes to classical culinary methods, roasting is difficult to overlook.
